Ahhh, the sun is shining and I am thrilled to feature a summer outdoor dream. Do you know Astrid from Insieme House? She was one of the first IG accounts I followed because I was immediately drawn to her colorful textural heaven in her stunning  A-frame home.

Just as it happens, when things are meant to be, they are meant to be! We have become wonderful friends and her design inspo always makes my creative heart sing.

Most of you have seen various parts of my home but something I haven’t shared yet is the outside. Well, there still is not much to show but my goal is by next year this time to transform it into an easy breezy, Cali vibe space to relax in. It is not a very large space but seeing how Astrid has utilized her outside space so well, it energizes me to think more about it.

So put on your sandals, we are going outside today!

Outdoor Patio Furniture

Astrid partnered with Raymour and Flanagan  to find the perfect outdoor patio furniture. Look at what she chose! The straight back chairs definitely are modern yet completely relaxed. And those hanging lights? The oval shape softens the otherwise hard straight clean lines that I am never opposed to in superb design.

The white table and jute outdoor rug anchors the space well.

DECK MAKEOVER AFTER PICTURES

I couldn’t wait to see how Astrid styled and finished the space! If you do not yet follow Astrid on IG, go now and click that button! She is truly a master at layering color upon color and patterns, prints, textures. It simply is a feast for my design eye. I LOVE. IT.

So stunning. Look at the pops of black and white in the baskets and then your eyes gravitate to the colorful throw pillows. I am sure you are thinking the same as me, I am plopping myself onto one of these sofas and staying for a nap!

I can see Astrid and her family entertaining all summer long here. Just simply divine!

Any outdoor space needs ample seating. Astrid’s new patio invites plenty of seating for people to relax, eat and converse.

Summer Outdoor Living

Ahhh, doesn’t Astrid’s outdoor patio leave you relaxed and at the same time energized with all the pops of color and energy? I am completely smitten with her work and so grateful she allowed me to share her patio with my design besties!
