Embarking on a festive decorating venture at the White House was a dream come true. Beyond the twinkling lights and seasonal decor, my carefully chosen outfits added an extra layer of elegance to the experience. Fit #1: Sequin Sparkle and Wide-Legged Wonder 

The Anthropologie Sequin top stole the spotlight during the White House holiday reception. Its captivating sequin detailing added glamour, creating a memorable backdrop for Dr. Biden’s heartfelt gratitude. Paired with black wide-legged pants, this outfit epitomized sophistication and festive charm. I felt so stylish yet very comfortable which is important for me! 

Fit #2: Versatility in Velvet and Corduroy

This soft and easily layered piece, paired with jewel-toned purple corduroy pants, seamlessly transitioned from casual elegance to refined sophistication, adding a playful touch to the holiday season. I seriously can wear this top every day beyond the holidays. 

 

 

Fit #3:  Madam President Vibes in Oval Office Green Screen 

See this picture? I totally thought this was official White House approved. Not. 

You won’t believe the story behind the Oval Office tourist green screen picture! Go to my Instagram stories to find out what happened! It is pretty embarrasing. What is NOT embarrasing is this beautiful creamy cashmere sweater.  This outfit turned out to be unexpectedly popular and brought this charming vibe, almost like I was channeling my inner Madam President! It’s funny because, at first, I thought the sweater might come off as a bit too matronly, but it turned out to be a total conversation starter. It just goes to show that unique fashion choices can really shine in extraordinary moments. 

Fit #4: Press-Ready in Buffalo Check 

Entering the spotlight for White House press activities required confidence and style. The red and black buffalo check jacket effortlessly blended comfort with a bold pattern, making a statement on this significant day. While facing the cameras and spreading the magic, wonder, and joy of Dr. Biden’s commissioned holiday decorating, I felt really great and honored to be with the press. Pinch me moment!
