Apart from my recent master bathroom remodel, my girls’ bathroom was the first and only space we renovated since buying the home 10 years ago.
The bathroom had a dinky one-sink vanity with a worn down formica countertop with countless scratches and scrapes from the previous homeowners.
After seeing my bathroom transformed into a pretty and bright space, the girls asked if they could have a summer bathroom refresh. Afterall, to much of our dismay, the face lady shower curtain, as Natalie lovingly called her, was ripped and torn after so many uses.
Drew Barrymore Flower Line Home Decor
Do you frequent Walmart? I actually go quite often because their grocery selection is fresh and convenient.
Just the other day, I saw all kinds of exotic fruits and vegetables you normally can only get at ethnic markets. But Walmart had them all. Who would have thought that?
They even had long stalks of fresh aloe! I have been looking for a place to get aloe since it is nature’s best remedy for burns such as sun burn or burning your hand from the hot stove.
Another reason why I love Walmart shopping is for their affordable and adorable party goods. After many, many years of putting on parties for the kids and their friends, I have learned to save money on spending too much on party goods.
Simple is best!
It’s not worth the extra expense because they are usually thrown away right after the party.
Lucky for us, Walmart offers the cutest party goods for a price that can’t be beat.
But, I have news for you. Did you know Walmart also has great home decor? I didn’t!
Recently, Drew Barrymore and Walmart collaborated on her first home decor collection aptly called the Flower Line.

Since my girls and I were on a grocery shopping trip, we decided to go check out her new bathroom decor products.
Let’s just say we weren’t disappointed!
Jewel Tones of Blue and Green
The girls’ bathroom accent glass tiles are wonderful jewel tones of aqua blue and teal green straight from the ocean’s reflection.
When we saw the Vintage Marble Shower curtain, my middle daughter Emily shouted excitedly, “Mommy! These are perfect colors for our bathroom!”
I couldn’t agree with her more!
Just as a design starts with an inspiration piece, this quickly became our muse.
From there, we looked at the towels. The girls have been bugging me for new towels. The ones we have been using since Natalie was born have been worn thin.
Natalie saw the lush white fringe towels with a cute border and quickly threw them in the cart.
Usually, I would be giving her some kind of talk on “talking to mommy first” before throwing things into the cart.
But, in this case, it was so on point, I smiled back at her and gave her a big hug. My little design assistant is growing up!
The Flower Line had so many bathroom decor ideas. We stood in the aisle for a good 30 minutes exploring and mixing and matching what would look great in their bathroom!
The 3 glass bath accessory set really caught my eye. It may not be as kid-friendly, but it was perfect for my teen.
She has been really getting into her self-care routine lately. And adding this set got her excited and happy!
And, that makes this mama happy too!
We both loved the vintage green glass as it sat on the pretty white quartz countertop in the shared bathroom.
There were so many more things we could have bought including the lovely wall art we saw. I was really surprised at how much art this Flower Line collection offers!

They all had a vintage eclectic vibe to them, but all very finished so that it would look great anywhere and everywhere in a home.
This Botanical Bubble 3 piece art set in antique gold frames spoke to Natalie. Why? She recognized the monstera plant we have at home!

We had to head home that day and say goodbye to so many more home decor goodies from Flower Line. But, I have a feeling next time we see the Flower Line at Walmart, the girls will have grand ideas of what to add next in their bathroom!
What can I say? The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
Happy day!
