Soooo…. has the Christmas spirit showed up early for anyone else? 😅 You guys, I am really into the spirit this year! Because my favorite season is autumn, I typically try my hardest not to break the seal on Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving, so I can enjoy pumpkins and pie smells and all the fall things. But this year, all bets are off. I’ve even broken out my wreaths early, and I’m ready to revel in the joy! I’m planning to host this year, and thinking about all the things I’ll need while ticking some early gifts off my list. Read on to see what I’ve been eyeing online!
Machine Washable Area Rug
Nothing grounds a living space quite like a chic, white rug. Whether you’re placing this puppy in the living room, the bedroom, or an office, this go-with-anything classic makes the whole room feel like a blank canvas you get to create within! That is… until the first spill. And even if you’re super careful and don’t have pets and live in a shoeless household it will STILL manage to look dingy over time. Which is why washability is mission-critical. All it takes is a quick cycle on cold, and you’re back to walking on clouds. Who doesn’t want to get that gift?
DeWalt Drill Set
Seriously, I can’t say enough about a drill set. This is THE gateway gift for any aspiring DIY-er! An electric drill is easy to use, reliable, and opens the door to endless at-home opportunities, from replacing light fixtures to a full bench build-out. Best case scenario, your new giftee will start small, build confidence, and work their way up! And they’ll have you to thank. Believe it or not, I was once afraid to hang artwork in my house—but now, I’ve used my DeWalt in countless projects. My favorite part, besides the sheer possibility? It packages up to store effortlessly, whether you’re working with a full garage or a spare kitchen cabinet.
Luxury Weighted Blanket
Okay, you guys. If you’ve been here for a minute, you know a weighted blanket is basically my favorite item to gift. It combines all my favorite things: style, self-soothing, and sleep. This is a secret at-home tool to calm anxiety, providing a tranquil sense of relaxation for even the tensest nervous system. The extra weight creates physical responses in the body that promote sweet release of anxious thoughts and surrender into sustained sleep. Plus, they can be so beautiful, adding layers of cozy texture to any bedspread. It’s like gifting a hug!
Black & Decker Steam Mop and Vacuum Cleaner
These kinds of deals are what’s making me so excited about Christmas shopping! This high-powered cleaning combo is over 50% off, and minimizes tool-switching when you’re deep-cleaning before the relatives show up. I never thought I’d become one of those people who gets excited about any kind of cleaning apparatus, but with all the time and energy I’ve poured into our home, you can bet I want to keep it clean, too! With these discounts, I’d buy one for myself and tie a bow on another one for my neatest relative. You know Mr. Meticulous will be pleased.
Bed Pillow Inserts
With family coming over, I like to make a comfortable space for those who are staying with us. The greatest gift we can give is a good night’s sleep, especially with all those reindeer on the roof! 😉 So when it comes time to pull down the murphy bed and set the space for guests, I provide a few pillow options so they’re able to select the option that meets their needs. A hypoallergenic, machine washable pillow with soft support is an all-around win! Whether our guests prefer one pillow or two, we’ve got the goods to make their stay extra-cozy.
Okay, so it might be my partnership with eBay that’s got me so jazzed this year. They’ve made it so much easier to find deals and nab off all the items on my lists—even the ones that are just for me. 😘 I’ve stocked my Pinterest with gifts from eBay’s More the Merrier Gift Board, filled with nearly 100 brand new items—all unused, unworn, and in original packaging.
eBay is even hosting a Pin-to-Win contest where folks can add all the items on their holiday wishlists for a chance to win it all! These are just some of the items I have in mind—but I’m dying to know: what’s on your wishlist this year?
