Even though we’re not nearly done yet, this DIY has been so empowering. We’re really acting like we know what we’re doing, and I’m so proud of us. It feels good to know that Travis & I created a whole shower ourselves!
Our clients want to be able to comfortably host their grandchildren when they visit from Japan. By strategically opening up the kitchen and brightening the space, we set a stage for interaction with the opportunity for sleepovers right in the heart of their home.
We’ve always loved the desert, but our recent trip to The JTH Posada in Arizona provided so much inspiration for our in-progress bathroom redesign. Plus, spending time together as a family totally reminded me why we’re doing this reno in the first place.
For this project I knew I wanted a distinct pattern with a strong personality that would still feel cohesive with the rest of our Modern California first floor. I chose a neutral design with a small pattern, the hand-painted Sanxenxo. I definitely recommend this middle ground for #neutralovers who want to venture outside their comfort zone a bit.
