Buying a new dining table is a great opportunity to visualize the kind of connection you most want to have, and then create it! After all, when form follows function, magical things can happen.
We wanted the kitchen to feel like a lively hub at the center of the home. Expanding this family’s kitchen island to double as their dining table was the perfect solution. The extra breathing room creates a new sense of flow through the entire house!
I found myself reconsidering a new approach to an old problem—re-envisioning my family at a dining table. This calls for something very functional and inviting! A solution that will make our Dining Room feel like an extension of the Kitchen. And then it hit me. Benches.
